Be there and enjoy it when Austrian sauna masters give their best for your relaxation: From Friday, March 20, to Sunday, March 22, 2026, the qualification for the Modern Classic Cup 2026 will take place at the Schaffelbad in the Thermenresort Loipersdorf. In the adults-only premium area, Austria's pouring professionals showcase modern-classic pouring – deliberately without show and costumes, with a focus on classic pouring techniques, craftsmanship precision, and the health aspect of the sauna experience. Your high-end sauna experience For you, the preliminary round means: high-quality competition infusions in the relaxed atmosphere of the Schaffelbad. You experience modern-classic infusions at a consistently high level. The classic sauna rituals last 12 to 15 minutes each. Water and/or ice, as well as essential oils, are vaporized on the sauna stones, classic wielding techniques with the towel are used, and music accompanies the pouring. What is the Modern Classic Cup about The Modern Classic Cup is an international infusion competition. In the preliminary round in Bad Loipersdorf, participants can prove themselves before a four- to five-person jury – the top 8 advance to the big Austrian final. The winner will represent Austria at the 2026 International Modern Classic Cup.

Your advantage: Participation in the infusions is included in the regular Schaffelbad admission. Additionally, those who want to can book a day spa package with comfortable extras like a reserved cozy lounger.
