A Christmas season full of magic, wellness and a good cause

Advent like never before: from 22 November 2025, Therme Loipersdorf will be aglow with festive cheer. Under the motto ‘Advent in your bathrobe’, the magic of Christmas will descend upon the thermal resort – from sparkling decorations in the foyer to Christmas cocktails at the pool bar and mysterious little winter worlds underwater.

With a charity concert in aid of the children's clinic at LKH Graz and a fundraising campaign for Licht ins Dunkel, Advent will be a unique experience full of magic and warmth.

Festive kick-off on 22 November

On 22 November at 5.30 p.m., the large Christmas tree will be lit on the spa terrace – accompanied by the gentle voice of Gabi Jahn and a pianist. An atmospheric moment that opens ‘Advent in your bathrobe’.

Winter wonderland in the thermal baths

While cold temperatures outside make you shiver, the festively decorated thermal baths await you with cosy warm thermal water, hot saunas and the scent of punch and Christmas delicacies.

Highlights include:

• Special winter infusions during moonlight swimming (5 December & 2 January) and Christmas scents for self-infusion in the sauna village

• Advent animation on weekends and public holidays (22nd & 23rd November, 29th & 30th November, 6th–8th December, 13th & 14th December, 20th & 21st December) and daily during the Christmas holidays

• Sled ride in the Carrera slide, where you can hear the sound of an exciting descent in the snow as you slide down

• The mysterious underwater portholes of the play and sports pool, which reveal enchanted winter worlds

• The atmospheric Christmas post office, where children can send their letters to mascot Otto

• The lovingly designed nativity scene with life-size wooden figures on Krafthügel hill – right next to the spa entrance and just a few steps away

Christian Stani & Caro Fux live – charity concert on 7 December

Join us for our Christmas concert with ‘Alle Achtung’ singer Stani and dialect pop artist Caro Fux – magical moments are guaranteed. Christmas delicacies will also be served from 4 pm. Admission is by donation and will be donated to the children's clinic at LKH Graz together with the net proceeds from the sale of food and drinks.

Fundraiser for Licht ins Dunkel

From 8 to 14 December, €1 per night will be donated at the DAS SONNREICH, Kowald, Leitner, Stoiser and Vier Jahreszeiten spa hotels. All net proceeds from the punch hut on the spa café terrace will also go to Licht ins Dunkel.

Christmas holidays with daily animation

During the Christmas holidays, the spa's entertainment team will be putting smiles on children's faces every day – whether with crafts, games or encounters with mascot Otto.
