With around 7,500 mg of dissolved minerals per litre, our thermal water far exceeds the minimum level required by law to be officially recognised as a healing spring.
The power from the depths
Loipersdorf’s thermal water is more than 29,500 years old. Every year, we draw around 226 million litres of healing thermal water from our four springs.
The 62°C thermal water is heated by rising CO₂ and drawn from a depth of 1,100 to 1,200 metres.
It therefore only needs to be cooled slightly before it can be used in our thermal pools.
The origin of our treasure
Currently, four springs provide powerful water from the depths:
