Wellness also means gourmet enjoyment. Your culinary wellbeing should not be neglected and this is where our spa eateries come in.

Apart from the emphasis on regional and fresh raw ingredients, quality of foodstuffs is our greatest concern. In all our gastronomic areas, apart from delicious specialities, you will find light and healthy dishes prepared according to the methods advocated by the popular nutritional expert and spa representative, Sasha Walleczek. After the success of the Walleczek dishes on our menu, the TV star has published a cook book together with chef de cuisine, Ewald Pint, containing tried and tested Walleczek methods. All the recipes are in line with the principles of spa gastronomy: good quality raw ingredients, use of regional, seasonal and ecological products and preparation free of additives – these are the bases for sensible culinary enjoyment.

Farmers from the immediate vicinity deliver harvest-fresh, seasonal produce and thus guarantee fresh flavour without additives and a multitude of natural vitamins. The emphasis on regional fare and seasonality doesn’t just support the economy of the area, but our health too! The produce has only a short journey to its destination and cultivation is environmentally friendly and sustainable. Flavour enhancers, herb-flavoured salts etc are not welcome here!

Our culinary outlets are to be found in the entire spa complex. The Marktrestaurant is in the Life Spa: to delight your taste buds in the “green self-service area“ you’ll find salads, soups, delicious specialities, light whole food dishes, sweet temptations – in other words, however hungry you are, you’re guaranteed something delicious. The Saunabar, Boxenstopp and Acapulcobar are all good for small snacks and cool refreshments. In my Schaffelbad you can enjoy the traditional atmosphere of the Schmankerleck. On the menu are regional specialities and light salad dishes. For refuelling after the heat of your sauna there’s the Saunabar mein Schaffelbad.
